Welcome to our site!
The Desert/Mountain Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) is a multi district SELPA located within the San Bernardino County. We are a consortium of twenty-six Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. We cover the 20,627 square mile region within the area that extends from the mountains to the border of Arizona within San Bernardino County.
Our purpose is to ensure that quality special education programs and services are available throughout the region to meet the individual needs of special education students.
Our web site is designed to provide information about the Desert/Mountain SELPA, including updates on parent and educator workshops, information about special education supports and services, committee news and items of interest to teachers, parents, and students.
For additional information, contact our office at (760) 242-6333.
